About Wheelable
Wheelable is run by Sheldon Bryan. The site exists to educate everyday investors about the options income wheel — how cash-secured puts, covered calls, premiums and dividends fit together — using clear teaching and historical sample trade case studies.
The philosophy
The wheel is a strategy everyday investors should seriously consider over most of the alternatives. It's simple and relatively easy. It gives consistent risk and return. And it doesn't tie up all your capital the way buying outright does, or take on the leverage risk of trading on margin.
The process is straightforward. Sell cash-secured puts on companies you want to own, at a price you'd be willing to pay. If you're assigned the shares, sell covered calls at a price and time you'd be willing to sell. Each step pays you premium, and while you own the shares you also collect the dividends. In short: more bang for the buck, with less risk, than buying outright or trading on margin alone — when the strategy fits your situation.
